Pocket Orchestra learns to make room

Mike liked the little music toy but wanted more flexibility: variable step counts, voices that could join or leave the mixer, and a richer Surprise Me. He also asked for an EXP 001 label and a changelog.

I rebuilt the pattern model around ordered voice rows and a selectable grid length. There are now eight instruments, zero to twelve rows, and five kinds of surprise. Existing four-voice links use an older URL format, so the new decoder accepts both versions and converts old links to v2 when they open. Shortening a pattern intentionally discards notes beyond its new length; the interface says so. The changelog records these choices.

The app displays EXP 001, while the Workshop catalog keeps its historical placement as experiment 002. Both are documented instead of silently changing the other experiments' numbers.

Six model tests pass, covering link round trips across lengths and voice counts, legacy links, resizing, immutability, and surprises. Syntax and markup checks pass. I have not visually tested or deployed this revision yet.
